But I was busy teaching secondary ed for 35 years. (Taught
1984 in 1984 and now wondering if any of my students remember those discussions.)
We early boomer women were often English teachers instead of lawyers and nurses instead of doctors and math teachers instead of engineers. It was the way it was. We graduated from high school on the cusp of change but at that point, if going to college, many of us followed the traditional track for women — but at least we had “The Pill” to offer us more freedom.
Boomer
