Let's all hope this bond issue becomes a non issue.

Well, maybe this is none of my business because, at this point, we have not bought in TV. But I do follow this bond stuff. I have also been reading stuff, for more than a year, that V'07 writes here. She always takes the time to answer questions and to address issues by citing specifics. She is never snide.

So while I do not know anything about what it is like to actually live in TV, and I sure as heck do not begin to understand this bond stuff, I know a little bit about the tone in which posts are written. But I also know that things can be misunderstood sometimes. And I can be half-way decent at reading between the lines.

And I gotta tellya, V'07 has no hidden agenda.

I just thought she was thanking Mr. Gorman for the insight and also saying that more communication like that would be welcome. And then giving a little suggestion as to how to communicate better to the Villagers who have been turned off in the past by the POA newsletter for whatever reason.

I took what she said as, "Here, let me help you so that more Villagers will read what you have to say, and the lines of communication will open to more people and we can all make TV better together." Nothing wrong with telling them that.

From what I can piece together about the POA, it seems like they could be quite valuable in the balance of information about TV. But if you want to get information out there and under consideration, it's not just what you say but how you say it. Or I guess it is more about how it is perceived by the target audience. Keep that audience in mind, always, if you want to get your message through. (And that's how I translated what V'07 said.)
