Thanks for the explanations. But I'm still not getting it.
It sounds as if
1. TOTV owns Village News and we can't reference the other site by name bc of online advertising competition. But that doesn't make sense bc TOTV wouldn't allow me to paste a link to Village News on this site.
OR
2. no mention of business by name is allowed by TOTV. But that makes no sense either, businesses are mentioned by name constantly on this site.
So I'm missing something still. 5 years ago I would have gotten this but my snyapses aren't synapsing so good these days
