In addition to the excesses of corporate executives - for years College and University heads (and their staffs) have paid themselves OBSCENELY large salaries. This has changed society in favor of elitists and away from equality and democracy. Average-income families with students making good grades in high school are priced out of the higher education market. Many College graduates are left with large loans that take as much as 20 years to pay off. It was NOT this bad in the 1950s. The end result is that the US is around 30th in UPWARD MOBILITY on the world lists.
