Default Boating

Senior Citizen:
If you want to think big, you can tow the boat over to the St Johns River at Lake George (google lake george) and you'll find a 250 mile long river that ends at Jacksonville where you can pick up the intracoastal waterway and go up or down the coast on mostly protected waterways.
Or, you can tow down to Palm Harbor Florida, (google palm harbor) and put in there and go down all the way past Ft Myers on mostly protected waterways.
All have plenty of marinas and places to stay if you want to get off your boat for a while. I think it's about an hour and a half drive to the River and about a two hour drive down to Palm Bay from the Villages.
An earlier post showed an entrance to the Gulf with a Marina in Silver Springs, I believe.
