Get a belt drive. I installed it myself.
The Chamberlain belt drive took me about 90 minutes to install. That's mostly because it was the first one I've done and I read the manual 6 times just to make sure I didn't miss anything. I also had to add the wires for the blockage/safety sensor at the bottom of the door so running those took some time. If you could reuse older ones it would have been a lot faster.
It has an app and you can open and close the garage door from anywhere and check to see if it is open or closed. The latest ones have a garage camera too which I would get if I were buying one today.
