We figured if we got nailed trying to get across the road though, at least there was a church just across the bridge where last rites could be performed. lol On our way back home, we would usually come back up on the Buena Vista trail (past Laurel Manor and under the bridge), to come up the portion of the overhanging trees next to the course. It wasn't until about the third time northbound through this area though, that we figured out the quick turnoff to the cart tunnel, before ending up on the road and using the traffic light at the polo grounds. Lots of honked horns on that little move also. ha-ha We did notice though, that the actual cart path led to a tight 90 degree turn to the tunnel under Buena Vista and what looked like lots of scrape and paint marks on the tunnel entrance crown. I'm guessing that more than a few people have found out the hard way, how tight and low the turn into that tunnel is. Now with all of the exploring south of the turnpike yet to do, it will be interesting to see if there are any little secrets/hidden/dangerous turns down in that area - or if they've continued to learn from their previously ill-designed sections (you can tell that things get wider and the curves less severe, the further south you go).
We went exploring today to find the lane. A little tricky to get to the first time but shouldn't be bad in the future. We also found the one-way cart path and sharp turn into the narrow tunnel - that was fun. Now I know of two speed bumps on the (non-golfing) golf cart paths.

Why do people insist on making claims without looking them up first, do they really think no one will check? Proof by emphatic assertion rarely works.
Confirmation bias is real; I can find any number of articles that say so.
