Default Big raise

I'm still taking with progressive about my renewal which is up from 966 to 1358 this year. The agent told me it was due to the number of roof replacements recently, which is possible but irrelevant because I replaced my roof in 2015 at no cost to progressive, because it was an Owens Corning warranty covered replacement.

I tend to believe the lumber cost increase explanation... The actuaries crunch the numbers... We just pay the result.

I was also informed some insurance companies have gotten out of the home insurance market!

I was wondering if anyone is willing to share their insurance rates and with whom they have their insurance with.

Thank you in advance for your replies.
