Also got my 2nd speeding ticket so far in my life just outside Van Horn, Texas in April of 1996. The first was in Reno, Nevada around 1980. There was NOTHING outside of Van Horn except the female cop I did not see in her cruiser until it was too late.

Elon Musk was in the area for a while but it looks like he moved his operation to the coast of Texas.
