Actually, having your laundry in the garage would be handy. As stated above, there is much less noise in the house if it is in the garage. A previous concern was the being cold or hot in the garage. Many of the garages here in TV are air conditioned and heated. Ours is in a laundry room and I almost wish it was in the garage sometimes. But then, you'll lose some valuable storage space in the garage. Pros and cons to both locations.
