The reason Operation warp speed worked so well is because the government cleared all the bureaucratic hurdles that caused previous vaccine development to take 10 years. The government also incentivized vaccine developers by committing to billions of dollars of orders for any vaccine approved. More "predatory capitalism" or something.
Yep, government "greased" the skid and it took lots of time out of the equation, yet the same folks who rave about that warp speed seem to complain about the safety of the vaccine.

I happen to think that warp speed helped Moderna for sure and Moderna and Johnson and Johnson and Pfizer to get temporary approval.

But, if you think it moved to fast and is unsafe how can you brag about the speed.
