There IS a simple answer to that question. Cult thinking can DEFY logic and engage in ANY Bizzaro idea or action. That's why the US is STILL resting on a knife's edge of social disruption and tyranny. Portland, Or. has had a 500% increase in MURDERS for thus far in 2021 vs 2020.
