One can imagine the social instability in France just before the French Revolution and the guillotine! People in 1975 IMAGINED that each next generation would be better off than the current. That IS NOT the case today! We are now around 30th in qualities like upward mobility worldwide and general quality of life. Even the UK is around 11th in upward mobility. The US cannot continue much longer with a society consisting of Uber-rich and uber-poor only. We no longer have real active capitalism - now we have Corporate and elitist Socialism. And it is firmly etched into law!!!!!!!!!
