As I am in the middle of your situation, I can share my thoughts. I came here initially to purchase but when the prices all went up and as a safer plan, I decided to rent and try before I buy. I read many posts of people moving around the Villages, now I understand why because the area I chose to rent would not be where I want to stay or purchase and comparing it to the newer areas that I was staying during my lifestyle visit, I now prefer to go back there. Trying out different areas is definitely a safer route unless you have friends or other anchors on location, as I am finding out now. thank goodness this isn't uncommon and not just me
