Had another near-miss at the Morse/Paige/Camino Real roundabout. In my golf cart, using the path that circles outside the circle perimeter. I was coming from the medical center campus parking lot toward St. Tim's. I crossed El Camino Real without any problem at all. Got to the Morse gate on the second leg of the circle and stopped to let the cars on the roundabout take their exits. Someone on the outside lane, heading for the gate, STOPPED in the roundabout and tried to wave me on, while someone on the inside lane of the roundabout was taking their "second or third" exit to the gate as well.

Obviously, I knew it would've been a stupid thing to do, plus the person who STOPPED in the roundabout needed to not stop so I waved him on and remained in place at my stop sign. Meanwhile, there were three cars coming up behind that stopped person, and one of them started beeping.

This guy who was stopped in the roundabout trying to wave me on was blocking traffic. He started to go again, JUST as the guy behind him pulled around and tried to get in front of him.

SO glad I just stayed where I was. Let the pile-up happen, as long as I know I'm doing the right thing and out of everyone's way.

Too many go through visitors gate and block traffic in the roundabout. what’s so hard pushing red button in residents lane? I guess there too lazy to roll down window and reach out. That’s one of the most safu intersections in villages.
