When we are stopped in the right lane, there is usually someone in the left lane beside us and we can't see around them.
As you know, traffic moves pretty fast on 44, especially when Billy-Bob is heading home after work. We are perfectly happy to wait until we get a green light.

If you can't see, you can't see, no point gambling. Usually if there is a car to my left blocking my vision, pulling up a few feet solves the problem. It might work for you.
