We had the bright idea of coming back to TV in August to buy a house. We thought that the weather would be beastly hot, and nobody in their right mind would go to Florida in August, and there would be fabulous deals on houses...
First, we were surprised that it was hotter in Utah than it was in TV in August. The temperature in TV was in the mid 70's in the evenings, and it was positively balmy.
Second, it seemed like everybody else had this same bright idea. I expected TV to be a ghost town in August, but there were more people here in August than the previous December! Who knew?
