The April POA Bulletin was in my driveway this morning. I have to be honest and admit this was the most factual, informative, balanced issue I have read. Mr Gorman, if this is an example of your leadership style influencing the organization, I applaud your initiative.
There are a number of real issues that affect residents that will not be discussed candidly in the Daily Sun or VHA Newsletter. As others have noted on this thread, there is a need for a watchdog organization. I'm just glad to see the dog is now more like a Golden Retriever than a pit bull.
Issues discussed included a wind down on the hospital investigation, the IRS bond investigation, comments from a developer rep on the bond issue, the indoor pool, recycling/energy cost conservation, etc.
Kudos to the POA for adopting a more reasonable tone. The message is still there....it just tastes a whole lot better.
Keep up the good work, Mr Gorman.
