Fact is there isn’t a reason now that there are Lithium batteries not to own an Electric vehicle or golf cart. They require a lot less maintenance, last a whole lot longer and don’t contribute to the green house affect and climate change. If you don’t believe in science, believe in common sense. Try driving one and you’ll see. They are better in every way. Faster, quieter, maintenance free can be charged at home so you alway have a full tank the next morning etc. the prices are also coming down so they are affordable.
For me, the strongest argument against spending taxpayer money to "help the planet" is that other countries are doing nothing. And, when people who have several houses and a private jet promote energy conservation, it's laughable.
