Not just rebates on electric cars but electricity also gets tax subsidies. An interesting issue is if the tax on gasoline pays some part, who knows of the expense to build and maintain roads, electric cars do not pay.
Solutions are far harder to find than complaints and that has always been so. Fair? Yet, another endless debate with no answer. If, anyone cares, my car is gasoline.
