Terminology.
The Electrical box contains circuit breakers..
This box feeds branch circuits ( every breaker) which contain outlets and lighting circuits (switches).
The key word is outlets.
A "plug" is the thing at the end of a cord you "plug" into an outlet.
Hence the word "plug".
Want to turn off an electrician.... tell them you have an issue with your "plug".
They will tell you buy a new appliance.
