Default Homeowners Insurance
I am purchasing a home... closing on May 12th. and am looking at homeowners insurance. Two of the companies are rated "B", with AM Best and the other is not rated by them but by another rating company. I can not seem to find an "A" rated company writing homeowners insurance.

The best quotation was using the HOMEWISE PREFERRED INSURANCE COMPANY. It seems this is a Florida company. Any info you can supply will be greatly appreciated.

Is there an insurance company you might reccomnend?

BTW, looking forward to our move in the spring of 2010.
