The Yankees have 25 players on their active roster. Six were just diagnosed with Covid, five were fully vaccinated. That’s a small sample, but that’s 20% - a huge difference between 20% and 0.007%. All but one had no symptoms. But per protocol, they are still tested regularly. That’s how they were found to be positive. The vast majority of people who have received the vaccine are not tested regularly, especially when they have absolutely no symptoms. So, how do we know the actual number of breakthrough cases?
