Bad news: If you have both E-ZPass and SunPass on your car windshield, you may be double-charged for FL tolls.
Therefore, it is important to have only one transponder in your vehicle to avoid duplicate charges.
You only need one of the following to travel to all 19 states: an E-ZPass, E-Pass Xtra, UNI, or the new $15 SunPass PRO. If you already have any E-ZPass, you’re all set.
Note: The regular SunPass transponders (SunPass Portable and SunPass Mini sticker) only work in Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina.

I'd rather use the EZ Pass but I currently have a sunpass window sticker. I wish we could just transfer the funds from one to the other. Then I'd get that sticker off, and only be out the $5 I paid for the sticker instead of the $20 toll credit.
I ALSO have an EZ pass transponder with $30 in toll credit loaded on it, that I have to remove from my car whenever I drive in Florida. Otherwise I get charged on both. That's why I'd rather have JUSt the EZPass - because I got the Sunpass before EZ Pass was valid in Florida.
