In Florida, only 47% of the population is fully vaccinated as the state is seeing an average of 55.1 daily new COVID-19 cases per 100,000 people, the highest rate in the country, according to data from the Brown School of Public Health. And according to the Florida Department of Health's weekly COVID-19 report, the number of new COVID-19 cases nearly doubled in the state last week from the prior week."

I read a few minutes ago that AdventHealth Orlando and it’s many satellite hospitals have, at present, if I recall correctly, about 760 beds occupied by COVID patients. NOW! Not last fall.

I’m scheduled for a weeklong Bluegrass Cruise in January. I only booked because vaccinations were required. If the governor bans requiring vaccinations for cruises, I will definitely cancel. No way I would go on a cruise with unvaccinated people and sit in crowded little rooms playing music.
