Speed limit for most of the roads in the residential and town square areas in TV is 25 MPH... carts are allowed to go 20 MPH. Primary streets like Morse Blvd. etc, are 35. Takes me about the same time (within only a few minutes) to get from my home to the town square or shopping in the cart compared to a car. Reason being is that you can take all kinds of short cuts with the cart. Driving a car, you have to go much further out of your way at times to stay on the roads instead of the trails. So the time you save by going fast in a car is offset by the shorter distance traveled in a cart, plus, a lot more economical in a cart, and fun.
