Default New Style Neighborhood Concrete Walls observed in Hawkins

From observation, most of the painted concrete walls in the Villages are 5 or 6" thick. They are slotted between two H shaped concrete posts and form the walls around many of the neighborhoods.

Yesterday, outside Hawkins, I saw a new style wall. It is still concrete, and will eventually be painted, but what caught my eye was the width of the wall. I slowed down and turned into the new section. I didn't get out the vehicle, but I confirmed that the walls are no more than 3" in width. The walls were leaned against the posts, apparently waiting on the next team to lift into place.

I suppose this is also new "technology" along with the prefab walls that are being used as a result of the concrete plant upgrades I have been hearing about.

I don't think there is anything wrong with the thinner walls, I'm just sharing the observation.
