I personally highly recommend an acupuncture treatment known as “Battlefield Acupuncture”. Here’s a link to a recent article from the American Journal of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. Some MDs are now trained in it (my preference). The history behind it and recent applications are worth reviewing to see if the treatment may fit your needs. Auriculotherapy is where a sequence of gold mini-darts or semipermanent needles are placed at up to five specific sites in one or both ears for a period of several days to relieve pain. Sounds a bit gruesome but it’s really not. The skin surface of the ear has mapped pain points that correspond to different parts of the body. Ancient Chinese, and recently the Germans and French, have studied this approach for a very long time. You can be the judge. Best of luck.
