Standard practice for this forum too. You agreed to abide by it when you made your account.
If you don't like the rules of something you AGREED to obey, you have a couple of options:
You can try to petition for change...
You can accept that you'll continually be monitored, moderated, and/or kicked out of the community...
You can voluntarily leave the community.
Terms of service/terms of agreement are like deed restrictions.
The people in charge oversee the property - whether physical or in virtual cyberspace. They call the shots, and you agree to them doing so the moment you click the "I agree" button while creating your account.
It's THEIR business, not yours. They have every right to tell you to get lost if they don't like how you play in THEIR sandbox.
