Even though we in the community are probably (and I'm guessing here) maybe 80% vaccinated, people are visiting family or have grandkids who are not vaccinated, which could fuel the spread. Even though vaccinated, I wear a mask in some public settings like the grocery store, to protect other whose immunity may be compromised (cancer treatments for example) who have been unable to be vaccinated or the vaccination may not be as effective for them. And to help control the spread of variants and mutations.

You are a better person than I am because I'll be damned if I wear a mask to protect people who refuse to protect themselves. As for those who are immune compromised and or are not able to get the vaccine, sorry, but they will just have to do what it takes to protect themselves such as wear an N95 mask when out in public. Don't count on me to do the protecting any more.
Variants? Vaccinated don't spread the virus like the un-vaccinated so I'm not worried that I'm responsible for any variants.
