I flew out of MCO last week to Newark and from Newark to MCO yesterday.
I saw maybe 2 people doing the chin mask routine, most people had them up.
I'm not a fan of masks, and I am vaxxed. I will wear where required.
Paper masks don't work against aerosols to any real degree unless it's a properly fitted N95. The predominant mode of infection of Sars-Cov2 is aerosols.
I have a beard, the only way for me would be a full face N95 respirator since I can't form a seal to the sides.
The real way to avoid getting this disease is the four Ds.
Density - Don't hang in tightly packed spaces with other people.
Duration - Don't stick around long
Dimensions - Find the biggest open space you can, be there.
Draft - If there are open doors or moving air, that's the best spot.
It's all about diluting the amount of Virus that may be lurking. Open space, high ceilings, lots of churn.
