I'd have to agree with Kayaker - In my groups at work I NEVER hear anyone trying to talk about their non-belief in a GOD. Unless they are asked of course. However, quite often I will hear conversations about people's religious beliefs (of all faiths I might add).
In fact a person could argue the opposite of what Yoda said. It's not just the sects that come door to door, it's the playing of God bless America in the 7th inning of a baseball game etc that also pushes certain religious beliefs over others. Don't get me wrong - I love the song but let's at least admit that one could argue why do we play that and not some other religious sect's anthem from time to time.
I am not a Christian, or Jewish, or Muslim, or Hindu or Buddhist or Atheist or anything. I simply do not know. So by definition (although i hate labels) I'd be an Agnostic. But I respect anyone's right to their own beliefs and none of that bothers me. Atheists have an agenda the same as Christians et. al. do and they have the right to push that belief.
