Hmm, I am not positive but didn't they recently admit that the test that they just discontinued was also showing the flu as a positive for Covid on that test? Perhaps that is what that poster was referring to?
Although, just about ANY excuse is good enough for some folks NOT to get the vaccination. My excuse FOR getting the Covid vaccination is my spouses health. She means more to me than anyone that I do not know. I didn't do it for my neighbors, fellow shoppers or anyone else I might pass in the streets.
I have not received the flu shot because I have never had the flu and I have been around a lot of folks that have had the flu over the years. Maybe that is not a good enough excuse, but I admit to my reasoning. My spouse is the same way, even though her health condition is much poorer than most folks.
Folks have the right to die if they wish. No one can blame them for anyone else's death or sickness due to their infection UNLESS they knew they were infected. It is their choice if they wish to be reckless and/or ignorant regarding the vaccination. Some folks own and ride a motorcycles, which is deemed very dangerous by many folks. They know it is dangerous, but they still enjoy the ride. I am not comparing it with a contagious disease, just a mind set.
I have my shots so I am not worried about anyone else getting it, IF they do not want the shot. They are no danger to me and I am not a danger to them.
Time for mass hysteria to run it's course and for folks to settle down. Yes, I have lost two relatives supposedly to Covid. I have also about 12 that have survived Covid with hardly a break in their activities. Life goes on.
