Cape Cod high COVID vaccine rate reduce risk of Delta variant outbreak

Maybe the COVID experts don’t know what they’re talking about?

The Delta variant, formerly known as the UK variant, is thought to be more contagious but not more virulent than the original COVID-19. I think the news from Cape Cod is good rather than bad in terms of the vaccinated being protected somewhat from the full impact of the variant and also the hospitalization/death numbers are encouraging. That's what matters right? Not that people are getting a virus, but they aren't suffering from its most severe effects.
