This area of the country is one of the highest vaccinated populations. Sadly, this variant can "break through" quite easily. It makes sense that there are so many fully vaccinated getting the strain, given the high percentage of vaccinated residents. What frightens me so (and I wear a mask indoors always even as vaccinated) is that the spread of this will cause mutations that the vaccine will not work on. Please, wear a mask. Stop this awful thing. It's science and the scientists are learning as they go. The best defense is to stop the spread.. period.
