I watched some Olympics - spattering. I DVRd everything and for the limited events I DID see - I Fastfowarded thru ALL the endless commercials and NBC promos. Thank god for the DVR...
One matter I DID see was several of the Medal award ceremonies - the latest Golf (BTW USA Xander Schauffle won the gold!) But talk about P.C. and the Olympic Committee. So many of these athletes had competed very closely, or the respective teams were close together -- no masking needed during competition (the ones I watched anyway). BUT ON THE MEDAL stand --- MASKED UP!!!
It looked absolutely silly. Then for a brief moment they take the masks off for a quick picture. Then back on. silly.
