Yes, the current school system in the US IS broken. Other countries have created much BETTER "quality of life" for their citizens. Rich people with high property values refuse to pay their fair share of property taxes, so they put people on the school boards specifically to CRY about school expenses and keep property taxes as low as possible - so the US gets only a "cut-rate" educational system.

As a fringe benefit, rich people can today MORE easily manipulate poor people into working for lower wages and electing leaders that work AGAINST the poor's best interest. it is as if the US has devolutioned back to 18th century England.
