Default I am in the 97+% that it doesn't matter what ball or clubs

you are what you are and the better equipment and balls make little difference. How did all the good golfers in prior years do so well with the non high tech balls and clubs....because they were good at it. Granted some of the more forgiving monster drivers and clubs bring some improvement (for some).

For most of us a ball is a ball is a ball. Most of the hype is just that....hype....gotta have something to brag about to ones partner players.

Good company....good weather...a good drink....a good cigar...and who cares about the ball or the equipment.....in my humble opinion. Over 97% of golfers are duffers or average. I am a duffer. I enjoy the game as well as the technicians with much less frustration.

Life is too short to smoke a cheap cigar or sweat the golf score.
