People often have great ideas about what kind of business they wish were here or the kind of restaurant that they think would work, but the truth is this. A business has to want to commit to come here and do business here. Much is said about the high rent and percentages charged by The Villages, but it is what the traffic will allow and is common in successful tourist destination areas to be able to charge high rents. I have observed that the typical lease is five years and it requires that business to manage the ebb and flo of very high population for a small part of the time and the much lower population during the rest of the time. That goes for hiring help too.
