I know that was meant to be a sarcastic joke.....but, in reality, world oxygen levels are slightly affected by the massive burning of forests in the Amazon. And the US is having problems with massive smoke from fires in our West. There is unwanted population migration toward the US and Europe caused by Global Warming.

The US has so many other problems that there is LITTLE movement toward any, "plant a tree" efforts. Look around at the yards here in TV Land - many are like a desert of grass with very little shrubbery and trees for trim and accents. Grass in yards by itself, requires excess fertilizer and loud, pollution-producing gas (not electric) lawn mowing - and golf courses that get zero use in the summer afternoon. The point is that TV Land is no ecological paradise and in many ways IS the perfect example of the problem for the future and NOT the solution. So, talk about your perfect grandchildren, while ignoring your generation's responsibilities to the health and welfare of their lives. TV Land does NOT even PRETEND to be interested in anything but more and more greedy development.
