And a SEVERE threatening mentality IS the reason that we are on this BRINK where even a slim possibility of an apocalypse exists. Enough threatening mentalities could lead to a Military State or anarchy. And remember that even in the old US Western era of near-anarchy - that REAL gunfights were NOT frequent. Society is UNLIKELY to tear apart THAT bad!
