One was hospitalized and on a ventilator and the other was very sick and was taken once to the hospital to be given fluids and then brought home.

Any way....I know there are 54 homes in our small village, and I sadly thought back then at the beginning, that two people would die, and I wondered who it would be? Some have two people living in a home and some have one and we have three.

Now a year later, I know that one did catch it and he passed away, another neighbor caught it a couple of weeks ago after getting both vaccinations and he recovered.

Of my close old friends in Ohio, three have died from Covid. One couple happily married to each other died within a week of each other before the vaccine became available.

I appreciate the kind wishes that began this thread to be safe. It has been a very scary and sad year for some.
I have repeatedly said that if I were in the high risk group, I would opt to be vaccinated. The reward would outweigh the risk. However, given the lack of any historical data on the long term effects of mRNA vaccines, and based on my age and health, I choose not to be vaccinated. And I find the idea of vaccinating children 0-12, who are in no real danger from the virus, to be utterly disgusting, given that no one knows what the long term effects will be.
