If the kids can do it, so can you. I work with students with disabilities and autism and they managed well wearing their masks. Now I will have to do it again for this year. I was in my home in TV these last past weeks for the summer and I did feel like the virus never existed. I also went maskless. It took a day or two to get used to it. Now that I'm back home and the hype of this new variant, I will wear my mask in crowded places and indoor.

No one is banning the wearing of masks. If you think that a mask will ward off the dreaded Covid monster, then go for it. Personally, I don't put much stock in these cheap masks, but I do have a military gas mask that I can wear if things get serious. I also have a mask that I used for stripping lead paint off old furniture that is rated above the 95 level. I don't wear a mask unless I am entering a medical facility. My choice. Everyone should do what they believe makes them happy and safe. I feel safe right now. I've had no one drop dead around me from the virus, even though I have been around plenty of folks that said they have had the virus and survived. I do not wear a mask for my safety. I wear a mask only so that others will have that warm and fuzzy feeling IF I need to go somewhere that requires a mask.
