The only areas that The Villages company controls is the commercial areas where they collect rent from the businesses. We all seem to think that maintaining everything in our fantastic community is the responsibility of The Villages and the Morse family. So just like it was "up north", whenever a subdivision is completely built out, that is the last you will ever see of the developer who bought the land, put in the streets, and built the houses. We all need to get over the misconception that The Villages and the Morse family still control our neighborhoods.

I think but don’t know for use only BV in Marion county is county responsible, I think all other are district 4 responsible? I know if they have to fix water leak in villa’s ladylake city crews fixed the asphalt. When by Woodbridge drive couple days ago it looked like crappy job also, but the wasn’t done yet.
