A nasty variant might come from the unvaccinated - or because of the vaccines themselves. There's a couple of different theories about that.
However, I can't get it out of my mind that COVID came from the cruise ships onto the U.S. mainland. The crew and passengers visit various ports of call around the world and they pick stuff up along the way. It's actually quite logical, but I'm just saying for those who fear contact with the virus in any form should not cruise.
