You never saw the complete destruction of hurricane, tornado, wild fires or earthquakes to solar panels? There is no sure electrical source, ask California how sure fire their electrical grid is for them. BTW, gas engines are capable of handling many of the situations you describe as impossible. I love electricity, however, it’s not the all end all people think and wait until it’s your only source of power. You will see the light. We have to be concerned now about efforts to take out our electrical grid so let’s put all of our eggs in one basket.
