That's why folks invest - to make $$. Personally, I couldn't care less what product a company makes, who the CEO is, where they are located, or anything else. If they are financially viable and successful, I'll take a look.

My biggest investment has been AAPL. Maybe not as glamorous as TSLA, but I got in in 1986, with a measly 200 shares. And have held ever since. They are the reason I was able to retire early. Many folks will be able to retire because of their TSLA shares. Good for them.

I admire EM, but would not own any shares or buy or sell any puts or calls - much to volatile for my tastes. More power to EM.
