I know that I am not answering your question, but I just had to stop in here to say that I loved it in Charlottesville, VA, all those many years ago, back in the 80's. The National Endowment for the Humanities, for some reason, liked something I wrote one time and so I got to spend a summer at UVA. Wow! Mr. Jefferson's University. And a beautiful town. And the restaurants were great, too.
Anyway, I had not thought about that summer at UVA in a long time, but when I saw this I just wanted to tell you how much I liked your town. Great memories of wonderful hospitality. Even though it cannot be me, I bet you will find somebody. I wish you the best.
