There is an unflattering wikipedia article about her. (EDIT: Just noticed the wikipedia link was already provided)

No, it never ever mentioned her name although the posters did.
Also missing was any indication of her other ties....some familiar names...
Dr. Li-Meng Yan wanted to remain anonymous. It was mid-January, and Dr. Yan, a researcher in Hong Kong, had been hearing rumors about a dangerous new virus in mainland China that the government was playing down. Terrified for her personal safety and career, she reached out to her favorite Chinese YouTube host, known for criticizing the Chinese government.
Within days, the host was telling his 100,000 followers that the coronavirus had been deliberately released by the Chinese Communist Party. He wouldn’t name the whistle-blower, he said, because officials could make the person “disappear.”
By September, Dr. Yan had abandoned caution. She appeared in the United States on Fox News making the unsubstantiated claim to millions that the coronavirus was a bio-weapon manufactured by China.
Note...I eliminated the link because it made many referrals to the political aspect of it. I copied and pasted nay what erred to the accusations rendered. Should anyone want the link, I will supply it, but it came from The New York Times
The continuing condemnation of another human being continues, while these same posters will defend while watching a video proving facts.
Sad that this stuff continues in our country and that wild conspiracy theories are abundant and promulgated. This kind of persecution (which includes death threats on Faucci, etc) was always something Americans were flabbergasted by in other countries.
Now, as with any third world country, we are wide open to these conspiracy theories, no matter how many have been proven untrue and only begun to further other things.
If you read the article, it will detail how this got started, more importantly all the players.
