That's NOT common sense. Common sense says that IF you are scared of your child catching Covid, then KEEP HIM/HER home. Common sense says that a child wearing a mask is not going to continue to wear it properly for extended periods, if at all. Common sense says that if you believe other children are infected, then why send them into harm's way, even with a stupid cloth or paper mask?
The reason the cold and flu season was so low last year was NOT because of masks but because everyone was at home, hiding from the dreaded Covid. How many children caught Covid, died from Covid? Kind of hard for them to become infected by other students if they are "zooming" their lessons. Kind of hard for them to catch colds or the Flu.
